Meet Dr. Esser

Tennis is in my blood.  I am a 4th generation tennis athlete.  I grew up on the courts of South Florida where my father ran a successful independent tennis club and then he founded and ran the largest national distributor of tennis court products Tennis Supply which continues today.  I was ranked in the top 100 in Florida in all boy’s divisions and then went on to play collegiate tennis.  After college I taught tennis full time for 4 years in the private clubs of Palm Beach at the Bath and Tennis Club and Mar-a-Lago and then founded and ran a 75 member junior tennis training academy with all ability levels from beginners to ITF athletes.  After completing my medical training I have continued my passion for tennis by completing tennis specific research with Mayo Clinic, being a member of the Board of the Society of Tennis Medicine and a national board member of the USPTA.  No medical provider has the same level of tennis experience as both an athlete, coach and clinician.   

 

I take great pleasure in caring for the medical needs of both recreational tennis athletes and professionals alike.  I provide resources and medical guidance to prevent injury and to treat those injuries in a tennis specific manner.
